Today I bring contractor (Daddy’s friend) to see my house and estimate the rough quotation for Kitchen renovation. I just plan to build a concrete table for the kitchen, also need about 2~3K (exclude all wooden cabinet). Haiz… Money not enough~
A lots of money needed for house renovation. Hopefully I have enough money for it. (’_‘)
Just now when I was there, the TNB (Tenaga National Berhad) people come to install the Electric Meter. We chit-chat about house matter while he doing the installation.
TNB: This is your house?
me: Yes.
TNB: how much is it?
me: around 189k.
TNB: how much you take for the loan and how long it take?
me: 90% of total house price and loan period is 30years.
TNB: Why don’t you buy it by cash?
me: how can, if do so, sure the taxation people will investigate on me.
TNB: you, chinese can ma…
me: … … … (Speechless)

What meaning that “Chinese can ma”? We buy the house by our own money without any discount for 7%, anything wrong with this? Why they just so envy when they saw chinese have some better? For about 50 years they were getting all kind of benefit and yet they need to blame this and that~
Wait, we have all our properties because we really work hard on it, we do not have any help from any parties or people. While we need to struggle for money to pay 10% down payment, they only need to pay 3% (7% discount), they are getting better offer compare to us. I just don’t understand…

After reading Kenny’s post (Click here) make we want to write about us, Malaysian. Why people think that Malaysian are special?
1. Malaysia have many races, a mixed society with many culture and foods, and even our language also mixed up. Only in Malaysia you can hear about this — “I study mechanical Engineering lo~”, you might think [Mechanical Engineering Laws]????
2. Malaysian can speak a lot of language, such like Malaysian Chinese can at least speak 2~3 language, maximum can speak 6~7 type of language. I can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, English, Hakka, a bit of Japanese.
3. Malaysian are special because they maybe born at here, and then study in Malaysia but at last work at other country, such like Singapore, Australia, etc.
4. Malaysian are special because all the quick learner, good student got the scholarship to do their subject in Local university, but to those who are not good in study go for oversea university.
5. Malaysian are special because they maybe can remember most of the place name of oversea country, such like Perth, Scotland, Sheffield, San Jose, Sydney, Manchester, Liverpool, etc… but they can not remember all the place name in Malaysia.
6. Malaysian are special, they like to mix the English words in their own mother tongue.
7. Malaysian are special because everyone will drive a car out to town. Remember that my Professor, Nick from Sheffield Hallam University once told me this during Alumni Gathering at Shangari-la Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. “This morning when I was in the bus, heavy traffic jam, I look out and see all cars just only got one passenger, driver.”
Anymore that you think might make Malaysian sound special, please share…

Day before National day (Independent day), people all move from Kuala Lumpur back to home state and lead to heavy traffic jam at north south highway. All people become more hot temper… Sometime, I wonder long holiday in Malaysia only cause social problem and do not bring any benefit at all.

On the way back to dad’s house, suddenly something happened in front of me. The red color proton beside suddenly go to block and stop the blue van in front of me. all happened in slit second, luckily I manage to brake and stop my car at once. Don’t know what cause the proton driver so angry with the van driver. Once the proton stop and at once come out from car and go to talk with the van driver, don’t know the content of their conversation, all I worry is the car behind me, worry they do not alert this and knock my car from behind.

Just now when I come back to Seremban from Bangi Toll. Wow… Heavy traffic Jam. So I come out from Highway at Seri Mahkota Toll. From there go to Nilai, then from Nilai back to Seremban by using old road (this road used to be one of the main road to Kuala Lumpur before we got the north-south highway). Luckily there isn’t any traffic jam at this Nilai-Seremban road.
On the way back, there is a Toyota Vios which behind my car but the driver has the intention to over take my car. All the way, he wish to over take but he not dare to do so. Haha… so ironic, you see the photo below, he always wish drive the car at the outer side of the lane but not dare to overtake my car…

At the end, he follows my car until reached Seremban, and he turn to the Seremban 2 direction.
