Last Saturday went for training at Bangi Equatorial Hotel. The training was arranged by my manager, Mr.Enrique. The training was conducted by a training consultant, Success Maxx Consultancy. It starts from 0900~1800, it is a whole day training session.

I reached Equatorial Hotel at 0830am, and training start at 0910, due to some people came late. (Malaysia’s culture) At first, I really do not know what we going to learn that day. “Work Smart” – Means working with smart ideas, or smart people’s work, not sure. But I can say that I understood the theory after the training session.

Normally it will start with Ice-breaking session, where everyone needs to do self introduction in front others. This time was totally different, each one of us asked to introduce a person inside the room to others and talk about the some good things of the particular person. Wow… I bet most of the people inside the room shock of this request, introduce a person to others is not difficult, but is kind of difficult to point out the good attitude/personality of someone to others. Maybe mainly due to we do not care about the people surrounding us, that’s why we don not know how to react on this simple request.

My ex-Boss is the 1^st person to start this activity, he chosen me as the person he would like to introduce to others. He said~

This is so surprise me. I am glad that he sees me as good decision maker though I got much more to learn from him. I need to make lots of decision each day, some decision cost company about hundred thousand dollar, each of the decision is difficult and I should not make any mistake, in any reason. That’s why all of us (my colleague and I) well trained to face such severe condition. So I think all of us are good decision maker, not only just me.

Let me ask you all few questions,

1. Do you know what you’re doing daily?
2. Is the thing you do important to you, or your company?
3. Do you blame anyone when problem happened?
4. Do you have a dream?

I bet you will say “That’s so easy to answer…” In fact, it is not easy to answer after deep consideration. Why I say so?

First, let us see the 4^th question, “Do you have a dream?” Yes, I’m asking you that do you have a dream. You feel difficult to answer it is because you never pay attention to yourself seriously. Everyone sure have a dream about something big, fantastic, wonderful, etc. I think nobody in this world live without a dream. Some people dream about being Prime Minister, being super hero to recue the world, or being a normal person with happy family. But why you can’t even mention about you dream? You can say it out loud because you never put it into your mind and store it. Your dream to you is a fairy tales, you never think it will become true once day.

Dream is a starting point of everything we do. Dream will lead you to make your own VISION, when you have a clear VISION, you will start to think how to achieve it, then many of the goals will appear in your mind. When so many things appear, you will try to find out the purpose of achieving it. At the same time, you will estimate your own ability to fulfill our own dream/vision/goals. In order to fulfill it, you will upgrade yourself periodically. Maybe at the end you do not reach where you dream is, but you are not too far from it, because you are in the right path towards your dream.

Now you see how useful when you have a dream. So let’s start to dream right from today~
