Soka Family Day

Event : SOKA Family Day
Date : 05 Oct 2008
Venue : Soka Gakkai Seremban Kaikan
Theme : Soka Olympic
Slogan : One Soka, One Dream

*Whispering* I’m one of the committee of this Soka Family Day. I should say I’m one of the helper.

All the banner design by a girl (the one stand on the left hand side in the picture above) and printed by Eric-san. I like to theme/slogan very must, One Soka, One Dream. It’s means everybody work towards the same direction.

For me, everybody work together to prepare this Soka Family day event/agenda had proven the “One Soka One Dream“. All of you can proudly tell others that you are not creating a slogan, you’re practicing it as well.

All participant will put into different country by give them a small flog sticker at the entrance of Kaikan. They have to join their own country and sit in a line start from the white A4 paper (Country name written on it, and the country flag as well). The country are : China, Thailand, Australia, UK, USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Canada. Agnes take care group of Australia, and I take care the group from China.

In the opening ceremony, there is a Soka Olympic flame light up ceremony, the torch runner started from Nilai Stadium, which last year the Soka Cultural night venue.

From Nilai Stadium >> Pajam >> Seremban town >> Rasah >> Rasah Jaya >> Kaikan >> Kaikan 3rd floor

The final torch runner, light up the flame on the project screen in front everyone. I think it is not just light up the Soka Family day flame, but the flame towards SGM, to follows teaching from Sensei, and the spirit to help others.

There is a session where each group will be giving some clothes can by their own creativity, they need to design something which can represent their country. I kinda shock that my group member which are so creative and their design is the 1st runner up in this session.

The right hand side white color costume was the product of China, my group. Winner goes to Malaysia, center blue color costume.

I stick these 2 country flag on my car after the Soka Family day. Now both of the flag stick on my office table, beside my Tokyo Train Map. This is the most special Soka Family Days I had joined, Thanks to those who contribute ideas, time, effort to this event.
