Nikon D5000

d5000

Photo Taken from Lowyat.net

I just bought my D90 about a month, now come out D5000. It come with the LCD screen which like SONY Alpha, can move and it can turn 180° somemore… This function is great to me, when you which to take some photo at some difficult angle (You no need to lay on the floor to take anymore)…

After I compared it by using Letsgodigital.org (Can’t believe it 100%)

compare

Then I found out it might be not much different to D90, or maybe D90 is slightly better. Hehehe…

But I dislike D5000 because it do not have the small LCD panel beside the dial-gauge, I used to check my setting at that side rather than pathfinder or LCD screen.

For me I still think our own skill is the most important thing in photography, without any skills DSLR can bring you some where further compare to Compact Digital Camera, but it will never help u move on further…

Now I think all I need the most, next…. will be A Flash for my D90… Awaiting my Birthday present from my wife.

Would prefer having an lcd that would swing out to the left and swivel 180 degres than down ! for self portraits I believe the tripod would be in the way ,but the buttons must have been too difficult for nikon to relocate ! Possably on next month’s
new camera ! All the manufacturer’s seem to be going
bonkers outdoing each other ! Wonder how often that down flipping screen will get stuck in someones t shirt
or jacket ! I do like nikon –still have a working
“F” photomic and an Me !

I have been using a cheap $200 camera for a long time and can’t believe the difference this camera has made. I like to take picture of triathlons and the 4 pictures per second allows me to shoot several photos almost ensuring that I get a great shot. Video is also very good but I haven’t worked with it much yet. Now I want a good telephoto to go with it!
