05 Aug this year will be the 3rd time I celebrate anniversary for Life beside the edge. Without notice that I maintaining this Life beside the edge for 3 years. 3 years for somebody might be very short, but as for Me, it meant lots for me. I seldom continue doing something for such longtime, even when I first started a blog named Life beside the edge on 05 Aug 2006, I never expect myself can continue writing for such longtime.

Arh~ Thanks god… Thank for letting have so much ideas, courage, time for continue writing, and continue share my experience with everyone.

Since 1995 when I first obtained my first PC, I started to connect with people by Mirc, that time I’m one of the active chatter in #bigmouth and #mamak, I once being assigned as Op (similar as admin) for #bigmouth. I realized that internet connect people, no matter where you are… Distance, Time Zone, Race or Country wasn’t a constraint for people to chat with each other and shared their experiences.

Then later I start to set up E-circle (Similar to Facebook group) to gather all my buddy in the net. During my college time, I’m busy with all my Engineering Course work yet I full use my free interval time to sneak into IT room for updating my Yahoo!group (BOYS-n-GIRLS). I set up this group to replace the E-circle which is infamous that time. Currently I’d lost control of this Yahoo!group but yet it is still there, managed by hacker/unknown user, and it is still growing…. Hahaha…

My yahoo account deleted by Yahoo during I’m doing my degree at Sheffield, UK. Maybe some hacker miss-use my email to send out spam mail and I lost control of all Yahoo related group, application in one night. So, that is the point I start to move into doing website by myself. For a engineer student to learn all those Html, Java language were kinda tough for me, but I manage to make some simple web page that time, but all of them had been deleted. I try few other possible ways to set up something to maintain my connection with friend, yet failed.

Finally I set up my blog in Wordpress.com. I officially launch the Life Beside the Edge on 05 August 2006. It take me few days to think about the name for the blog.

Our life is actually stands beside the edge. It stands beside the edge of life. One side the good and the other side is the bad. You don’t even know when you’ll be good or vice versa. This is the reason I created Life beside the edge.

10 days to go for it’s 3rd years anniversary, I feel grateful that all my friend still continue to support me till now. THANKS, without your support, I might not have the momentum to continue to write for such long period.
