I bet you should knows the news – 10 killed in bus crash; Perak MB wants night express buses stopped. I knew it while I’m driving to office early Christmas morning, I went back office to settle some issues in the morning time.
Wow, 10 people died in a bus crashed accident. From the radio broadcasting I learned that the bus actually lost control and hit to the metal barrier. When I went thru the news later on, I read about this…
“Ipoh traffic chief Deputy Supt Mohd Rodzi Rajab said the 38-year-old bus driver Mohd Kamil Mohd Rashid admitted to having dozed off prior to the incident.”
Oh, it sound like not an accident, was cause by the driver dozed off. I understood that driving at night is a tough job, and that why we need more more careful and that’s why the long distance bus have actually 2 drivers in a bus for take turns to drive.
Maybe now everyone busy to find out whose fault in this accident, more over some parties stand out to protect the bus driver and said…
“It maybe cause by the road condition and bus condition too, can’t blame fully to the driver”
We don’t actually blame fully to the driver himself, but he did dozed off right before the accident took place. Well, we just put aside driver dozed off portion first. I think long distance bus normally drive in very high speed on the road, much faster than our normal vehicle. I think the “THING” we need to consider/blame/improve is driving attitude, if Malaysian still keep driving like nobody business, forever we’ll see such kind of tragedy.
