Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

The best part of the movie for me is the part Connor Mead (Played by Matthew McConaughey) make the Best Man’s Toast… He said…

“Someone once told me that the power in all relationships lies with whoever cares less. And he was right. But power isn’t happiness. And.. I think that maybe happiness comes from caring more about people, rather than less…..”

Phew, I just loves this part very very much… Damn it, I repeated it for many many times, yet I’m still repeating it now…

The 2nd best of the movie was where Connor convince his future sister in law to stay, not to run away from the one she loves the most in life. The words used in this movie were perfectly nice and touching, and it touched my heart.

“You know what? It scared the hell out of me too. What if she hurt me? What if she left me? What if she died? It’d have been the end of me. So I cut it short, before she ever could. And you know what? It was the biggest mistake I have ever made.”

Then he continue with this …. “Look at me, I’m an empty lonely ghost of a man…”

Phew… another part which almost take my breath away… All of sudden, I loves this movie very very much.

For me, Love doesn’t come easily as it is, we all need to risk it, even there are so many uncertainty, but in the end the more you cares, the more happiness you can get. Fellow friends, Please loves the one you in love with from this second onwards, if you’d already did it, please continue it when ever you could. Believe me, the pain beats the regret far worst and it repeat every day, every hour and every second as long as you still continue breathing…
