Many people asked me about DSLR recently, they wish to have a DSLR like every others did. They wish to carry a heavy black thing walk around the town and find it is so cool. I told them, not to waste the money just for fun of carrying it.

I always suggest those who not really deep into photography goto get a compact camera. Recent there are lot of high end compact camera like SONY Nex-5 and Lumix G1. But if you really have time / effort to learn about the camera setting, how the Shutter, Aperture, ISO works, you can try Nikon D3000 or Nikon D5000.

Why I say so? 1st the pricing of these 2 camera is reasonable cheap and is lighter to carry around. Then I just found out that both of the D3000 and D5000 also have the Airflow control system.

I find hard to know it meaning, in Japanese…

It mean it can control the airflow in the mirror box whenever the shutter flip… Hopefully I don’t interpret it wrongly.

Basically why initially I don’t choose these 2 camera, because that time both of them haven’t launch, and they don’t have body build in motor which helps lot in Autofocus. But that is not the major reason to let you step back, you still can purchase all the lens with the build in motor and solve the issue.

I just would like to say, to produce the nice quality images, doesn’t need DSLR to do the job, you the one who make it happened.
