I never try the Nikon D3000 but I been seen many photos from it through Forum, or website, it gives nice quality photos too.

I try on Nikon D3100 2 weeks ago, it is lighter compare to Nikon D3000, and much much lighter to Nikon D5000. The design of it make the this little DSLR looks more advance and user friendly.

Do you notice that there is a new design beside the right hand side dial option. It make those 4 options easier for select, I bet many of D3000, D60 or some entry class DSLR user found difficult to set camera to Self timer or continuous snap. Now, it all solved in this Nikon D3100.
