Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED – I added it into my next year wishlist. I tested it this Monday and it performance damn fantastic. I had tried the Tamron 17-50mm f2.8, but it doesn’t give a good performance and result. The next similar category lens to try is Sigma 17-50mm f2.8.

Ok, let’s see what Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED can do. For professional test report kindly refer to PhotoZone_testreport. I can only say the lens react damn fast, just like you point the subject, focus and snap just in split second, cool~ It is good for snap photo of a moving subject. With the 17-50mm, actually we can have the wide angle plus the zoom function together with the large f value which work good under low light condition.
