PEACE and happiness for ourselves and others. This is what the Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) strives to spread in the hearts of Malaysians.

Based on the Buddhist teachings of Nichiren Daishonin, a philosophy that promotes humanism, compassion and respect for the sanctity of life, this non-governmental organisation (NGO) was founded in 1984.

Throughout the years, SGI / SGM contribute lots of effort in term to raise public awareness on PEACE, CULTURE and EDUCATION issues. They organize many exhibition related to mentioned topic to let us have clearer images.

I hope more people will know about SGM and their effort in building a Harmony/Peace Society. I wonder any SGM who read my blog?

Early in that Morning I wake up and prepare myself to go for Wei Yi and Akemi’s wedding ceremony at SGM Kaikan, Cheras (11am~12:30pm). I bet many people attended Soka Gakkai wedding ceremony before this, but for Akemi one is much more special~ It is because the both of them will be wearing Kimono, and the ceremony will be held in Japanese Style. Maybe you might wonder why they held their wedding ceremony in japanese style, it is because Akemi-san is Nihon jin desu, her full name is Akemi Nakatomi.

So many people come to share the happiness with them~

In front of everyone, they sign the marriage settlement~ and promise they will take care each other for the lifetime~

Wei Yi and Akemi requested to give some speech, both of them cried while talking about the constraint they faced during the wedding preparation. Happy they overcome all the obstracle together~

Academy P Member sangs a LOVE SONG for the lucky couple. Title “Because of LOVE” (In chinese pinyin – YIN WEI AI), this song suit for the day very well. I like this songs very much~

All the University Putra Malaysia friends, Academy P comrade took the photo togther with the lucky couple~

Finally, Agnes and I take photo with Wei Yi and Akemi. Cheer~

Last but not least, We hope Wei Yi and Akemi can help/support each other in the path of life. All the best~

I went to SGM Culture Centre, Cheras for Malam Mesra (Harmony Night-Direct translation on 21/Jun’08, do not know correct or not… hehe~). Kuala Lumpur area got so many people who joined this event. I’m so glad that I got a chance to watch it live, and I got my VIP ticket for it o~

For me, I think SGM/SGI is doing very well in building a harmony and discipline society. Just do not know why so many people still dislike it?

Soka University set up by SGI (Soka Gakkai International). It located at Hachioji, Tokyo from Shinjuku Station start journey to Soka Uni need around 1 hr 45 min. Hachioji is a big city too, even though it may not busy like Shinjuku or Tokyo, but it city is well structure/designed.
